Alertcops is the name given to the service in the form of a free application on mobile devices that provides a direct channel with the State Security Forces and Corps to communicate an event of which one is a victim or witness. Citizen security alerts that are given through this app reach the nearest police stations. The app uses our identification when registering and makes use of the geolocation of our phone.

During the State of Alarm, the Ministry of the Interior updated the application by enabling an 'SOS' button with which women victims of gender violence can, in situations of risk or need, request the assistance of the State Security Forces.
